History in the making. A heritage venue that captures the grandeur of our colonial past is on offer at Albert River Wines. Home to three former Queensland Premiers, the restaurant is located in what was Auchenflower House’s billiard room. Expect history, elegance and a relaxing dining with great wines. The venue offers both indoor and al fresco dining and caters for couples, groups, families and grand weddings or functions. The glorious setting with its sweeping drive, the colonnaded veranda and undulating hills covered with vines will provide an immaculate setting for what is sure to be an amazing experience. Open seven days a week for morning tipples and open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday. You can choose from a two or three course special menu or from Our a la carte selections.
Farm Tours
The friendly staff at Albert River Wines would like to welcome all Senior Tour Groups to join us for a lunch and tour of our historic colonial farm, Wednesday to Friday.
Enjoy a stroll through our historic 1800’s homesteads, Tamborine House, the fully restored Auchenflower House, and Taabinga Chapel – the original Taabinga Lutheran Chapel. You can also meet our friendly farm yard animals with Yvonne taking you through a day on a sheep station, with the help of her wonderful Kelpies.
With comfortable seating in the restaurant and ample parking for buses, this venue is ideal for tour groups to enjoy an outing in the Australian country.
Tours run at 11am Wednesday to Friday, bookings are essential.
